Cadillac blank keys used for a Chevy??

i have two blank Cadillac keys, one of my blazer keys broke(the top piece that holds it on the keychain) ive had the keys for awhile and recently realized there the same size, im wondering if they could be used for my blazer if i got them cut for it instead of paying for regular replacements, any input is appreciated!

if your key doesn't have a chip, maybe?

if it does have a chip, you need two working chipped keys (if you have the top..chip.. you'd just need to have it close by I think) and you can program a new chip

both of the Cadillac keys have chips and my Chevy keys have chips, thats why i kinda think it would work but i wanted to see if anyone on here worked with keys or just knew if they'd work

are you sure your blazer key(s) are chipped? after some quick ebay searches it seems that I can only find nonchipped keys for blazers.

yeah the ones on ebay are good for 99-06 or something
