baaudio Posted March 23, 2010 Report Share Posted March 23, 2010 keeping current box dimensions. 26" X 41" X 20" current port is 4" X 18" X 14" tuned to about 29-30 hertz according to Torres box calculator. used all 3/4" mdf with a 2X4 brace between subs to help flex. it measures 18 1/2" long. box is 9.5^ft basically im planning on just redoing the baffle and im planning on a bigger port because now i have 7.55in^2 of port and ive seen some of you guys recommend 12-15... so what do you guys think i should do for port tuning. and what sort of frequency should i tune to? not worried about putting in on a TL or anything i just want it to hit hard. i listen to a lot of rap and you guys know how that stuff hits. so help me out!
