I was using it 20 mins ago and now when I open it "Unable to connect" IE works fine, but no matter what site I goto on FF I get the same message. I even tried reinstalling it. dwright27 Posted March 26, 2010 Report Share Posted March 26, 2010 (edited) i had that problem until last night. was on a proxy server for like a week and a half. idk what happened when it fixed. cleared my cookies and cache and was fine. i did restart my modem though edit: i had the problem in IE, Chrome, and firefox. This bothers me IE makes me feel like I have girl Cooties i had the same problem with my internet for a while. i found out that i had a virus that was causing my browsers to act up. you might have to perform the system restore if things dont get better, soon. I deleted Norton (was just a trial anyway) and i dont know what else to do. Last thing that happened was a firefox update. after that i get nothing. Run that I will bet money you got a bit of malware that is causing firefox to be a bitch. the only other thing I suggest will take some computer savy and some time.
