sappst21
Title says it all. The alt is a 100 amp if that helps. it should help ... no problem that I would see, people use them all the time for all different applications and never upgrade alts Quote '05 CHEVY TAHOE Pioneer N4 | 4- MEMPHIS M3 12's ..... 2 DC LVL 4 XL's ON THE WAY | 1- MEMPHIS MOJO 4k | 2- Optima Yellow Tops Ohio Gen 295A Alt | Kicker 1/0 Wires, RCA's, & Connections | BIG 3 | SECOND SKIN SPL TILES [/center]

wildcard4040
uh... no? he has NO need for the big 3 I wouldn't say no need. Doing your grounds in 1/0 would help but the power would be a waste. Quote i think i just gave myself a concussion i facepalmed so hard. and for the 1's that dont like me..... well, Im still here fuckers. Cant get rid of me that easy. He does NOT need the "big 3" upgrading grounds can help a little bit but that would only be a "big 1" or "big 2" Quote 8 DC Level 4 M2 15s2 DC Audio 5ks26^2 clamshell tuned to 30hz9 Kinetik 1400sMechman externally reg'd 340 S seriesin a 99 Jeep Cherokee Click to see J00bles' Youtube Channel
TheSundownFire
You dont need a bigger alternator unless the power draw of your system exceeds your alts ability to charge. The battery doesnt draw any extra power or require anything extra to be charged except if it is let almost die in which case you would fatigue your alt. You dont need the Big 3. But you should Quote 1999 Pontiac Sunfire Alpine CDA-9886 Sundown Audio SAZ-1000D Sundown Audio SAX-50.4 Rainbow SAC 265.25 Components Image Dynamics iD12 Optima Yellow Top SQFire FTW. 01 S-10
If you run a postive wire back to the amp why would you not upgrade the underhood grounds? Thats like a kink in a garden hose. Those tiny factory grounds were not meant for that kind of extra current Quote TDH FTW !!!
