I have never used a circular saw, sander, anything woodworking and I will attempt to build a box too. Well to start off this is my first actual build. I used to have 2 P1 12s in a prefab box but i kinda just threw that together. This is my first car that i got from my parents. It was free so i cant complain i guess? My goal is to have the loudest Lumina ever! Jk. Heres whats going in the babe. Kenwood MP2 1 18" Fi BTL Not sure on the amp 2 Orion XTR 5 1/4 (with stock 6x9s in the back) 2 Power Acoustic tweets I have been working on this for a few days but i dont have pics right now. Im still waiting on the BTL. I have my box built. Its my first one and im happy with it 9.5ft^3 tuned to 30hz. Sealed that bitch up but i still gotta paint it. Wastehog Posted March 28, 2010 Report Posted March 28, 2010 Hmm.. I see a problem which might need addressed. I'm thinkin you're gonna need moar powa.. The hifi's are a bit overrated and the 2010 prob isn't putting out enough. If you don't have the 2010 yet I'd step up to the 2610. Garunteed 2k watts at least.. FIs can take more then rated anyways, just gotta know what you're doin. Steve ran his at double rms for over a year.. Anyways good luck. Should be a good build. If I just keep the gains low and don't abuse it it will perform pretty good. The only reason why I'm getting the Hifonics amp is because my buddy accidently got 2 shipped to him from an eBay store. He sold me one bnib for 200 with a bass knob. Any suggestions would be good. Heres the Big 3 all done with Audiopipe 1/0 gauge Heres the connection at the alt, it was a bitch to put on because my brake lines were in the way. Picked a nice fuse holder.
