  1. You did great derrick. It was crazy seeing all those ties. Congrats!
  2. Thanks. What size alt do you recomend? I have a 160 amp alt but if thats not big enough i can go up.
  3. I noticed that it fit pretty nicely under the hood and i was wondering if it would work for my 95 Camaro? Im gonna run a SAZ-2500 @ 1ohm and i plan on have a D3100 with big 3 in 4/0 and 2 runs (1+,1-) in 4/0.
  4. I would put the 4 975s in the back and squeeze the 3100 under the hood
  5. I love my old school orion amps i think alot of older equipment was better than most stuff nowadays.
  6. www.streetspl.com Shows in NC. I stay near raliegh. These shows are prettyfun with alot of loud systems.
  7. i guess thats just me. im over protective. but hey what do i know im only 18 lol
  8. My old ladys dad builds custom cabinets for a living and gets some free wood here and there. plus he has like 6 of every tool you could think of.
  9. MDF is forgiving. You can scratch it or nick it and just sand that bitch down. Its cheap, Its very dense, and you can get it from almost every department store. The only reason why i sometimes use birch is bc it is light, stronger, and sometimes i get 3/4 baltic birch 4x8 sheets for free
  10. I had my pair at 33hz in my trunk. Gave them 3 cubes, plenty of port and a SAE-1200 and it hit hard as hell in a trunk car
  11. Sounds good man, I dont think your engine was as hard as mine. Mine has the airbox a half inch away from the battery terminals. Ive had a few different sytsems in my lumina. There not good on the meter considering my back seats dont fold down
  12. Yeah luminas are weird lol have fun working on that battery
  13. What year lumina? If its the body style ive worked with (96 lumina) its around 6-8 for one layer on just the lid. For the whole trunk im not sure, i would sau getting the 36ft pack would be good for the whole thing, got any questions about a lumina ask me lol
  14. What kind of fosgate 12? It looks like a HX2 but i cant tell if its punch or power, i might gey that off your hands
  15. Yeah they can take that, he just dosent want to say they do because he dont want some idiot puttin 1k to them in a shitty box and clippin the shit out of them and then freak out when they heat up or blow and say "WELL JACOB TOLD ME 1K WAS FINE FOR MY SA--12??!??!
  16. I have a Sundown SAE-1200D but it will be 200 plus shipping
  17. So 6.5 cubes after displacement for a pair tuned to 33hz with a 1500 should be fine?
  18. where in NC exactly? i can help or i have a few friends that can
  19. I have a XS D1200 and its a nice batt. I have a stock alt which is 105 amps, regular old batt up front, Big 3 in 2/0, 2 runs of 2/0 (1+,1-)and a D1200. I get a steady 13.6 at full tilt. As long as your connections are good I dont see a problem. Im gettin 1300ish after all rises out of my amp. I could see this batt supporting alot more power with the right charging system.
  20. Ok I sent an email to brandon. Hopefully it's not gonna be stupid exspensive
  21. Well the SAX-1200D is rated at 12.8v. I have a SAE-1200Dv2 and ive clamped it out at 1420w at 14.1 @ 1ohm nominal. I recomend the 1200. I've seen the 1500s put out 1600-1700w, which too much.
  22. Yes I want 15s I've been trying to call you but I guess the fone cant be answered lol jk man. I wanna know how much it would be to recone a pair of SA-12s to 15s?
  23. could be a Lvl 4 with XL soft parts. sometimes people like to mess around with the DC subs so you get alot lvl4xls or lvl4w/lvl 5 soft parts
