basshead4life
depends on if your going by 12-16 sq in per cube or 8-12 because 8-12 i think is for aero but yeah for 176 you need 14 4 inchers you'd be better off with 6 6 inchers EDIT: you could probly also get away with 2 10 inchers Team S.M.D. Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1 - American Bass 500.1 - 60 ft of 3/0 -480 Ah of battery - (2) stock alternators (70 +90) - Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. (if that confuses you then you get the point) lol

basshead4life
ive read on here that its 8-12 for aeros and i also read someone was gonna use 10 inch aeros. well i guess if they dont exist then theres no piont lol but if you were going by 16sq in per cube i'd use 3-4 6 inchers. basshead4life
unless your dead set on using 4 inch ones then you could do probly 8 Team S.M.D. Maritime Car Audio- (2) 18" SSA ZCON D1 - American Bass 500.1 - 60 ft of 3/0 -480 Ah of battery - (2) stock alternators (70 +90) - Kenwood Excelon x-794, 4v preouts car audio is just a LOT more complicated than "this amp does this power" or "this sub will be this loud". its like 2 + 2 = banana. raytard
aeros usually need less sqin per cube, like basshead said, 8-12. and you can make your own 10in aero's, all you need is some sonotube and a router and a bit of creativity. doing 16sqin/cube with aeros may be a bit much....especially using 4's Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
15VmaxXL
so 8-12. Sweet that makes my wallet feel better Thanks a lot guys sold everything
Decaf
dont get 4" aeroports u want to go bigger, thats way to much surface area for friction to occur honestly i would either do 8-10 aeros made by someone, or just do standard slot port if you used 14 4" aeros you would be spending more money on ports than i did on my 2 12 re sx subs
