Guest Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 idk if the external knob on the orion amps are gain knobs or bass boost knobs, but your gain is WAY too high.
spl4life Posted March 31, 2010 Report Posted March 31, 2010 sounds like your gains arnt set right... i got the same amp... readjusted gains with DDM... 1.unplug your speakers from the amp... or jus the positive one... 2.unplug the bass knob... 3.play a 50hz tone 4.set DDM to AC 5.connect to pos and neg speaker terminals on the amp. 6.adjust till it reads 50 volts. (if im not mistaken thats 2500rms which is what it should be) 7.reconnect everything and test it out shouldnt take more then 10 mins unless your amp is in a hard to reach location. My first truck...
