the only time negative camber is cool is when you are bagged and laid out on the pavement.

don't go to low with that much camber, my buddy's hub broke going 45 with no brakes

see the skid mark ;)

does anybody know what size drop the tahoe in the front has and what size rims is that??

I have a 96 4dr tahoe with 22s and i was wondering what size drop i need to get the tire in the fender?

I would NOT suggest that big of a drop

I thought the pictures would show for them self

he started off with a 2/3 then he did a flip kit, the he got lowering keys, then he took out the torsion bar completely then he took out some more leafs in the rear and by the end of it he was tuckin 22's

IIRC he was 28" all around but they rubbed bad

i have a 2wd so idk if that makes a difference but i just ordered a rear flip kit and i already have 2 inch drop spindles on the front and drop shackels in the back....... also im thinking about buying a set of 2 inch drop coils for the front

well the reason his hub fell of was because when he dropped it that low his half shafts were wasted, the boot ripped so he just took them out because when he tried driving out of the garage they were grinding something fierce

if he didn't take them out he wouldn't have lost his hub.. that was all his support and the only thing keeping his wheel from falling off

I would be careful with lowering too much.. I've learned that there is only so low you can go before the problems start catching up with you

question you have to ask yourself is.. does the look of it lowered out weigh the cost of getting it that low/cost of fixing problems that arise from messing with the suspension?

oh yeah im all up for it but another question with the items i just listed ....Will the tires be IN the fenders at least the top of the tire....

as the front sits now

too much fender gapp

looks like you will be okay.. it all depends on your offset.

my wheels have a bad offset causing my tires to not want to tuck so easily

also when you go lower.. the thread states it all.. you will get some negative camber which will cause the tire to tuck up into the fender like you want

good luck! and get some pictures :)
