AudiobahnCaddy17
This is the first vid of my system, i made it last night after cleaning my car. i was surprised at how little the camera picks up the vibrations and shaking of things, but i guess that could be because it has that "steady shot" thing, idk. anyway, theres a few songs on it, the vid gets better after the first song, so just keep watching. any comments or thoughts would be great. im already thinking about a new system this winter, so any thoughts on that would be great too. FieroGrande
looks pretty good! How loud do you usually listen to it?
AudiobahnCaddy17
ya they were sleeping. it was like 11:30 12, at night, i had just got done cleaning the car and the camera was out there. I usually listen to it at about 15-17 volume, with the sub level at around 9-10, this is all on the head unit. Thats a pretty nice level i think, but when im really trying to go loud, it seems that with the sub on level 15 (max) the subs seem to not get any louder past about 20-21???? any ideas, and thanks for the comments guys Quote "There's no replacement for displacement" 89 Cadillac Eldorado Custom two tone paint 2 12" Audiobahn Alum Q woofers 2 Audiobahn A8000T amps 2 Audiobahn Capacitors Alpine Headunit

AudiobahnCaddy17
Thanks for the help, I'm gonna have to do that this weekend, but I'm still kind of confused on how to figure out how many ohms I wired it for, or how I should have it. Each of my subs has two positive and negative ports on either side, so i wired the positive and negative into one side, and on the same side, ran a positive and negative wire from the other set to one set on the other side. How many ohms is that? should i have it wired differently? Any help is greatly appreciated because im still new to this, being my first install and all. Oh, and if i set my gains with my subwoofer control on the headunit at 0, i just use the input level thing on my amps, then once that's set, i can continue to adjust my subwoofer output when i want right? Thanks a lot guys for any and all help Quote "There's no replacement for displacement" 89 Cadillac Eldorado Custom two tone paint 2 12" Audiobahn Alum Q woofers 2 Audiobahn A8000T amps 2 Audiobahn Capacitors Alpine Headunit
