slot port help

i am building a box for one 18. i have always built sealed wood and fiberglass enclosures. i am wanting to do this one with a slot port. i have been searching and cant find any info on how to do it. can anyone help me with the formulas or advice please.

Download Torres new calculator, It's awesome and lets you choose round ports now as well as slot.

RE enclosure calculator is NOT accurate. And it does not include subwoofer displacement. Its a piece of junk.

Gives you info about building and has a calculator right there for you. I used it for my RE sub, tuning it to 35Hz and its amazing!
