Chris2k6Chevy Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 Ok decided to run a mono block amp for the 2 dvc subs I want to get, if I chose a amp that put out for example 300 watts rms would both subs get the 300 watts or would it divide equally into both of the subwoofers

EclipseChris Posted April 2, 2010 Report Posted April 2, 2010 depends on how you wire them, but one of the basics of subs and amp setup is the lower resistance (lower impedance) the more power. running series divides power running parallel multiplies power i resolve to be a nicer moderator.
