Pioneer Back Up Cam

so i just switched DVD players from an older panasonic to the Pioneer AVh-4200dvd... I did the relay mod for the DVD's and hooked everything up how it was before, just swapped it basically. However my camera is on the "battery" setting and i have no picture, its just black. Nothing seems to work,i have the reverse wire hooked up, the RCA plugged into the right input, power, ground... I dont understand? Anyone had this problem?

double check all your connections when you say your camera is on battery you mean on the head unit right? how many wires does your camera have?

However one important thing i might add while switching decks i had exposed wires and i noticed my radio fuse was blown under the hood. I think Somehow the positive touched the negative while i was driving and i have my cameras positive hooked up to my radio harness, therefore, i think i shorted out the back up camera as well. I replaced the 15 amp fuse under the hood, the radio works perfect, however nothing on the camera.

I didnt install the camera so i cant recall seeing a fuse,i looked under my truck following the wires and i cant find a fuse anywhere unlike the other models of license plate cameras that are similar.
