i'm 27 now and like steve, just now (close to my 30's) am gettin to where i can really start buying the good stuff.

I told my story so the younger people around here know more of what to expect outta life, not feel like they're not getting anywhere when they dont' have anything at 20 years old.

I was kicked out of my parents house at 17. Great family I was just bringing too much trouble home with me.

BTW not doggin on anyone STILL at home, just curious really.......i mean some people act like straight up players but still live at home. If your struggling and your parents let you stay, you should be very thankful. I know people that didnt have a choice - at 18 they got the BOOT, they didnt just leave LOL

I moved out when I was 18. Moved in with my girlfriend (now my wife). It was either pay my mom a little rent or pay rent and live with a chick. I was 18 and she was 23. It was such a hard decision for me to make. :-p

18 and still living with Mom and Dad. I'm going to college on a solid scholarship (I've still got to cover some of it with my job in the summer) but I'm back at mom and pop's house for the summer and holidays and stuff. I doubt I'll get my own place until after I graduate. It'd be too much for me to juggle having my own place and working a job to afford it and keeping my grades up. However, once I'm out of here with a degree, I'll be on my own. I don't plan on going back to my parent's house once I graduate. However, the college money pit is the exact reason I don't have a build log on here. That money belongs to Northeastern now instead of DC or Rockford or someone else.
