Your build turned out much better than mine though, i have almost no mids or highs compared to the bass. i resolve to be a nicer moderator. Tercel build R.I.P. I wanna compete but i have no idea where to look, apparently i have 2 mods in my area but they rarely reply to pms. I don't think any system on here is ever really finished, just done ya know? fecupe2001 Posted June 27, 2010 Author Report Share Posted June 27, 2010 Hey guys , as a few of you may watched my last vid, i bought a SD8000.1 amplifier for my DD´s 2512, i finally got some time on the termlab, my main goal always were hitting 150 dbs on a daily box, i really love how my box sound but, after seeing EVERYBODY on forums saying that the explorer it´s very easy to post good scores, i think i´m kind of sad right now haha, forums sucks so far!!! Now my goal and score seems like a crappy number!! My box it´s 7.6 cubic feet after displacement and 20 SQ of port per cubic feet tune @ 41 hz , here are some pics and vids about the numbers, also, great Bass Race score for the stock alternator IMO .The soundigital gains are set under 50% of it´s capacity because i don´t want to burn my subs, i guess if i give it a little bit more gain i could raise the number. DB DRag Legal score, sealed at the dash: Sensor on the dash and driver´s window open: Usaci style, sensor on he kick and driver´s door open: Bass Racing number with driver´s window open (that´s how we bass race here): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACC7zeQUsY4 Next time i´ll use a song with a more constant bass line to see if i can bass race over 150 dbs panamenian style and 149.9 dbs class with car sealed up. fecupe2001 Posted July 11, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 11, 2010 Yo Matt what up bro? well don´t be jelous hehe, just buy one Yeah i know i could try a smaller box, but then, it would loose the flat respond and awesome sound it has, that thing it´s nasty and with a very flat respond, but yes i´m considering changing to aeroports, biggest problem it´s my batteries on the back, i guesssi could try a pair of 8´s maybe? we´ll see very soon, for the moment i´m very happy with the result, another pain in the ass issue it´s all the leaks, i know i´m loosing at least 1 db with that that shit sucks!! About the electrical, yeah i know SD like big power, i have stock alternator for the moment, Kinetik HC1800 under the hood and 2 HC2400´s on the back, voltage drops are all the way to 10.6v but i´m hoping to fix that problem very soon!!! Thanks a lot for the inputs and comments, it´s weird that someone visited this thread, i´ve seen guys with 10 pages just on a box build and i barely have 3 hahahaha, cheers!!!
