Sup guys,

My friend's 99 tahoe has a non working passenger air bag that was sealed up after it was involved in an accident.

So now he wants to take off the bag and just get it wrapped.

Do we need to take off the whole dash??

because there are 3 screws circled in the pic

If I remember correctly on that bodystyle Chevy/GMC truck, that plastic plate around the air bag comes out, revealing bolts to the air bag mechanism. Open the glove box and see if there are any 7mm bolts in there that can be taken out.

dash has gotta come out. I had to take the dash out my 99 burban. its a pretty big set up. the plastic around the air bag that looks like it pops out is plastic welded to the dash. the cool thing, once you get it out, the support brackets hold a PS2 almost perfectly

99 suburban, ranger rover headlights, SS front bumper, roll pan with frenched tag, 2nd row delete, glassed dash..audio to come whenever I figure out what I want.
