somerandomguy Posted April 14, 2010 Report Posted April 14, 2010 Such as on this taurus SHO at 4 mins 49 seconds, the bottom lights: and I've also noticed them on cadillacs, the backup/reverse lights and also on a bmw or something (not exactly sure what it was) the backup lights AND the light(s) for the license plate.. How is this? Are they just regular (smaller ?) HID lights and they have a ballast and all? They don't seem to have to warm up though.. so I dunno about them being HID lights. Anybody wanna enlighten me, please? Wasn't sure if I should put this here or not.. Quote

I got a set of Xenon Diamond Whites from Recon for my fog lights (waiting on my headlight bulbs), and they look just like HIDs, except HIDs are a tad bit brighter. I'm pretty sure that all THOSE are is regular lightbulbs, with a blue tint stuff put on the outside of them to make them look whiter (which does really work.. but doesn't make them brighter) Quote
