Finally after three coats is where it turned black but the red light still shines through so I'm good And the final product: Now my question is, I'm clear coating the grille, symbol, and strip definitely, but do I need to clear coat the brake lights? I got it at Auto Zone, but it took almost the whole can to make it even close to dark... I would have used the whole ting and finished it off, but I didn't have the time... anyway it's pretty dark and you can clearly see the brake lights and running lights at night and no cops have stopped me for it... unlike the guys that put 5% tint on it and you can't see anything lol... MY fault of course, I was tired this morning headed to class at 7:30 and rolled off a green light to take a left and rolled to far into the lane of an oncoming Cadillac who was already doing 40... sucks... but everything happens for a reason...
