manofthehour Posted April 14, 2010 Report Share Posted April 14, 2010 Hey my name's Ryan and I've been interested in car audio for a while so I decided to buy my friend's MTX Terminators and the Terminator amp and the Terminator box LOL from him a while back. It was pretty nice to finally have some bass... To say the least I've always wanted some damn good bass. So like the stupid kid I was, I spent just about all my graduation money on my current setup lol. My friend helped me build a nice looking box with some 3/4" MDF about 3.5cF tuned to ~35Hz. I bought a Cadence TXA1000D, two 12" RE audio SEX 12D4s, and a bunch of wiring (0 gauge, 4 gauge, 10 gauge). Then I got some LEDglow interior lights for the car to look nice at night, and it does lol. Then I got a Optima yellow top battery for the trunk to power the amp... which failed but that's another story lol anyway that's my story... I put a lot of work and made some stupid mistakes along the way but I like my current setup enjoy! I put LEDGLOW blue interior lights in the car and plan on buying two more LED tubes to put in the trunk. I have two MTX Terminators in a vented box me and my friend built (was the first time building one so its not perfect but its pretty darn good) They are running off my new Sony XM-GTXR2202. I also have the Alpine XDa-100 head unit with the high speed iPod cable hooked up to my 30GB iPod Classic. I have the KTP power pack for the head unit so add a little thump in my speakers. I'm not tryin to impress anyone lol but i wouldnt mind any tips on what i should/could do.
