Guest Posted April 17, 2010 Report Posted April 17, 2010 So im planning on buying another level 3 (run 2) and the site says 1.5cuft for ported and 2cuft for "SPL". which one should i go for? planning on giving them 600, maybe 700 a piece. edit: also i was thinking about doing a 35hz tuning, nothing too drastic since i'd want a somewhat balanced response.

SPL boxes are clearly bigger. As a result, they gain efficiency. You said youre giving them 600-700 watts each which is their rated RMS. I would do the SPL enclosure.
