Running a second battery

Recommended Posts

sorry for using this thread but i want to run a second battery in my truck. but im gonna do the big 3. and i am planning on running 1 of my amps off my bat under the hood and the other 2 off the one in the rear. i am planing on using 0/1 awg to connect the 2 bat's and 4 awg for the 3 amps. or should i just run all 3 amps off the rear bat??? im not sure

Why waste more wiring then you need to? Your front battery will supply the power to the second one just fine with 0 gauge. Just attach everything to the rear and thats it!
