Well I was talking to Gary the owner and he said it was just under 800 with shipping. And he said with this event he made a good amount back plus he has done a lot of term labing at his shop. So he has probably paid it off or close to it.

BTW he said he will prob do an end of summer one, so get your truck done so we can do first second.

So yesterday I went to my first db contest at a car show in the area. The numbers weren't as good as the week before, but nonetheless I got second in my class. Classes were 1-2 subs, 3-4 subs, 5+ subs. There were about 20-25 cars total. My numbers were fourth best in the field and second best in my class.

I know some of the numbers so here they are.

5+ class:

1. 146.5dB 6 12"s in a wall in Grand Prix

2. 144.4dB 16 12"s in a wall in a Astro

3. 140.?dB 6 12"s in a wall in a Grand Prix

3-4 class:

1. 144.0dB 4 15"s MTX 8500/9500??? in a Small Blowthrough in a Avalanche on a Memphis 4kW

2. 142.6dB 3 15"s in a Chevy Venture with about 2500 Rockford watts **********************ME*********************

3. 140.2dB 3 15" ????

1-2 class

1. 142.3dB 2 15"s in a Aztec (women owned)

2. 142.1dB 2 15"s in a GMC Sierra Full Size (^^^married to the women who took first^^^)

3. 141.5dB 2 12" MOJOs in a NEW SS Impala (crazy ass trunk flex, but not good numbers)

Hopefully I will be able to be loudest in show and my class when they have the show in a couple months.

Just a question, are these scores on tones or music?

They had a cd we could use with test tones, or we could use any device hooked up to a 12v source. So really anything you could imagine. I used a song on my iPod and a 39Hz test tone, but i need to tune the amps better

Only? 143.6 off 1 12 Solo-X for me same kinda car that was listening to music though. did u happen to ask if he had any deadner in the trunk?

This guy works at a local shop and I'm pretty sure that he did have some deadener in the trunk, But still the Spoiler would flex so much it would slap off the trunk and make the loudest fucking noise from flex I have ever heard.

I would have raped that class LMFAO.

Those T-lines aren't good for numbers, I would not be surprised if a proper CRX box would get you a decent bit louder.

Okay please explain CRX box, Cause when I get the new subs, I am gonna try them in the T-Lines and then maybe build a better box for them.

Also here are the pics that didn't get loaded up yesterday.

It's nothing fancy, just subs firing up with the port firing back.

Just like mine, Meade's, and pretty much everyone else with an SUV.

o ok right. I was gonna see how my new woofers sound in the tlines. And then build a box that is up firing and port back. Or I would do a wall. Haven't decided yet. I am going for a good spl daily driver. And I would like ot to keep a sleeper status. So I think CRX type box might be better. But will it be the loudest
