BlockShaker
Does anyone have any experience with this old navigation unit? I'm not that familiar with navigation units. I've installed it in a '96 Impala SS and when I insert the MAP DVD it goes to a blue screen that reads "Disc Reading Data" and thats all it does. I've waited and waited and thats pretty much what it does. All the wiring is hooked up properly. Then I put an Audio CD to check if the unit works and it plays the audio CD. I'm not sure if its the Map DVD or not, but I looked on Pioneer's website and for the Map Software Upgrades are in the $250-300 range. The guy doesn't want to pay for new software unless he's sure its the problem. Has this ever happened to anyone?
