BuBz Posted April 28, 2010 Author Report Posted April 28, 2010 Wednesday April 28th 2010 So today found me doing the drivers door, we started by sanding down the door with 40 grit paper..... Now I have been having issues with the drivers door for sometime, it's plastic and it has broken in a few spots where the window rubber attaches(see pics)..... Everything I have tried is not working for reattaching the rubber to the door, looking for any ideas here people help a brother out. So then we put on a coat of short hair..... Sanded Sanded Sanded and Sanded for ever then re mounted to the door and snapped a few pics..... Now tomorrow I don't know what I will get done as Greg will be grand daughter sitting but check tomorrow night and have a look see..... Then we sanded and sanded and sanded..... Got Filler?..... Apparently I don't because I ran out!!!..... So we sanded what I did have..... Well that's it until Wednesday as I have some other things to do check then for updates..... Went and bought some primer and more filler today was dying to primer them to see where to hit with filler next..... Hit with primer and as you can see I got all excited and put my pockets on temporarily.... Started to put it all back together for now..... Then I put them back on my truck..... Was windy as all hell here today and now its calling for thunderstorms for the next 3 days so I will update when possible..... I plan on building a new box for my subs, I have all the specs on them, all I need is for someone to tell me the size of box I need for 2 subs,Audiobahn is no help I have sent three emails and not one response from them. I know the size of the box I would like to build that would fit best in my truck the box will be just over 5 cube if its the correct size no chambers just ported I just really need to know if im doing this right before i go waste material I plan on using 3/4 thick MDF hers a pic hope this helps If thers someone out there that can help me then HELP!!!!
