REaudioBuff Posted April 19, 2010 Report Share Posted April 19, 2010 I have the 2 re mx 12'' subs in a ported box on my pic here. i have 2 rf t2500.1bds powering them and they are not taking it very well. Now i have a guy that wants to trade me the subs i have for 2 orion hcca's 12''. would those subs take the power better than the mx's? They are much more power hungry looking than my subs but im not sure if they will handle the power better or what. tiller1 Posted April 19, 2010 Report Share Posted April 19, 2010 ya my re mx's have real close to the same excursion as them... i just wanna know if they can handle more power than my current subs. or ill just keep the mx's well the amps that are made for them put out 2500 rms. but i dont know what the dynamic power on them is? ive heard there great amps soo i'd bet they put out a little more?? but i would just throw one on it for a few and see what they do! and its going to be clean power from the amps??? right?? CNF Kevosinn Posted April 19, 2010 Report Share Posted April 19, 2010 ok so i dont have first hand expierience with the hcca but on their site they do a test against some other subs one of which is the kicker solo X. the kicker can take 2500rms and the orion actually lasted longer than the kicker.
