Ricky A.
alright yall im experimenting with this one.. yall ever thaught of putting an fi btl 15 ontop of one seat on ur extended cab pickup and not taking up the whole nack seat and still have almost 4 cubes. well here ya go! hopefully it works ok. im not sure if the ports big enough.. its tuned to 32 hertz and the port is unexpectedly jammed into the back of my seat :/ so we'll see how that goes! Guest
what he said ^^ thats a very awkward port that wont work very well, especially when its being suffocated by your seat
tacomabanga1986
if it was me i would fire the sub to the side and port it at top, or make it kind alike a backwards downfire box firing it twards the back of the cab, and port it threw the top so u can put an angle on the back of the box to set ur seat back on to hell i might just halfto build something like this for the hell of it just to see how it sounds, but i dunno much bout ported boxs so i would halfto make it sealed anyways hope ur box does good mang Quote here's a link to my system 99 toyota tacoma , 2 mtx 8000 1504's in a sealed downfire , 1000w memphis amp here's a link to my other system my 90 geo prizm test car heres a thread i got of new songs u can dl that are legal = Some Good Bangage/you Can Dl These Free And Legit

Ricky A.
yeah i thiknk im gonan redo the port. lke leave the sub where its at and port in ton the side with a bigger port so it wont extend so far in the back of the box.. but heres some pics of the jamming into the seat issue. right now the port is 10x3.5 and 18 inches deep giving a 32 hz tune. and im thinking like 16x4 and like 10 or 12 inches deep. i havent done the calculations yet but that sounds close to what i need.
