s_carter
damn make your vision blur and hard to breathe at only 1700 watts You must be one hell of a box builder. Nothing too special, just a basic separate chamber box at 6.7 cubes per driver after port and driver displacements, and a 4"x12" square port for each sub. Its tuned low, at 26 hertz. These SSD18's are just amazing subs for the price. Though, I will be building another box down the road, at about 12 to 15 cubes per driver, and increasing the port area, to see if I can get the peak response down from about 45 hertz to the low 30's. I love the loud lows. Pulling some hairtricks wouldn't be bad either. I have been building enclosures for about 10 years now, so I have learned a few tricks and tips from a lot of people, and I have learned a lot about it on my own as well. Custom Sounds NW takes your ideas and turns them into your reality. Custom enclosures, consultations, service and installation of mobile electronics and home theater equipment. References available!
