200watts for 125.00 cheaper (better looking) I wish soundstream would make the 2500 in this style

i think the soundstream dtr3400 would be a better choice

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23965_Soundstream+DTR1.3400D.html

it says $700 but click make an offer and they will accept $431

so for $11 more dollars you get about 1k more rms and the dtr is .5 stable

2200 rms @1 ohm

3400 rms@ .5 ohm

and ive seen them ran daily at .25 ohm!

  • 1 month later...

i just bought one, hella good sounding amp and it gets very loud (loud enough to make my head hurt and vision blur and hard to breathe), but I am so deaf from all my systems, its just not loud enough for me yet. Maybe its time to add two more subs into the mix... but then again I am only running it at 2 ohm, so its only putting out about 1600-1700 continuously.

Custom Sounds NW takes your ideas and turns them into your reality.

Custom enclosures, consultations, service and installation of mobile electronics and home theater equipment.

The D towers are good but they don't have as good of sq as the Rubicon... And its smaller in size as well.

I bought one of these for a client, a very nicely built amp. Has better sound quality than the tarantula amps and IMO looks sexier.

Here's some internals of it.
