dakotaspeir
wL<3bass and me have been working on my system.. 15'' Fi Bl firing forwards in a cobalt.. Well we got it in, made panels and foamed them. Still when you open the trunk it is noticeably louder Is there any other tips I can use to get it to its full potential ? Maxim
From what I've gathered on here, firing subs and port toward the back is usually louder in a trunk setup. Not sure if it's th same for a sealed box though. Are you able to lower the seats? If so, have you tried it when nobody's in the back to see how loud it is? Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt

Kranny
is the port firing forward also? and is it COMPLETELY sealed off from the trunk? meaning you put expanding foam in all the little corners and stuff.
dakotaspeir
We sealed off the back and the top crack.. Next goal is to seal the rear deck and under the box Quote Vehicle: 2008 Chevy Cobalt LT Exterior: Tinted tails, Lowered with Eibach Springs, Black Housing Headlights, 6000k HIDs Amplifiers: Rockford Fosgate P400-4 & T10001bd Batteries: Kinetik HC1400 Electrical: Big 3 Stock Alt Enclosure: 4 ft³ @ 33Hz 75sq.in. of port (18.75sq.in. per cube) Headunit: Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD w/ 80G iPod Mids/Highs: Boston Acoustics SL60 (front), Boston Acoustic SX95 (rear) Subwoofers: 1 15" Fi BL Fully Loaded Wire: 1/0g KnuKonceptz Kollosus, 4g MobileSpec
n8ball2013
if it is not completely sealed it will need to be. any leak at all and its going to not work. Same principles as a wall. Maxim
OH LOL! I replied before the pics were up. So the box is ported but it's in a sealed-off trunk. I gotcha now. Quote wtf is lolcats?
