help?tuning box for spl

Recommended Posts

2.5cuft box quite small for the number u did im impressed do u have an email fecupe

Generally speaking, bix boxes are for low resonant frequency cars, ground pounding or when you have very small power, when you got a high frequenc and you are using tons of power you do a small box, this gives you more cone control and power handling; The frequency i was looking to burp was 58 hz and scored 150 flat without testing or anything, i built that box in a few hours, of course, it was a spl box, if you are trying to score 150 with 2 12´s in a daily box that´s difficult!!!

Yes, add me at [email protected] , i´m not the biggest expert or anyhing, but i can give you some tips so you can start on the right path and then, start learning by yourself, it´s the best way!!

If you are using 1" MDF , for 2 10" ports you should get 26" long , if you are using 3/4" MDF and double baffle like you should, you need 24" long, this is with subs displacement included of course...

Maybe you could leave part of the port externally, or, you could use something like this:

threadjack??

If Morgan Freeman narrated a story on how great AIDS is, I would be captivated and tempted to contract it myself. His voice just fills my soul with warm fuzzies and puppy tears.

He has NO idea and may have a touch of autism to be honest.

Is this guy real or is he joking? i actually mistook him for a lesbian in that demo video

Wanted to mess around with a box for the garage. Was thinking 4 6x9 in 4 cube at like 30 hz...

These are the things that make me lol
