Okay, so lets try to keep the hating down on this

but i work at bestbuy, yes i know.. not the coolest car

audio place in the world but im 18 and aint going to get a

job anywhere else as cool doing something i like this much

anyway i just got accomadations (discount prices) from

the manufacturer and cannot beat their deals... yes its going to bbuy.

i was wondering if i should do 6 L7 12s, on 2 zx2500, 4 L7 15s on 2 zx2500

or should i wait a long time and save up to do 4 solox 12s on 4 zx2500

or 2 18 solox on 4 zx 2500?

i mean i really want a rediculous system that i can compete with...

but i dunno how i cant afford that and all the power.... 18 @ besbuy...

anybody know exactly how much louder solox are than L7

dude to power that many amps its not just gunna be about your discount but can you afford the alternators and at least 4 extra batteries for that set up

I say go with the 6 12s for now...it'd be PLENTY loud enough for a daily driver

Then if you decide later after you can get accommodation price again you could switch out to the solo xs and more amps. Then the only extra price would be equipment plus batteries

Also man....best buy isn't a bad place to be an installer. The biggest thing is you have benefits, no other mom and pop place is going to give you benefits for being an installer. Not only that but no matter what you have a paycheck...instead of having to worry about being paid commission and having a slow week. Hell, plus they pay for you to get your MECP which if you wanted to take it to Master and actually make a good bit of extra cash and work for a big business that isn't going to be going anywhere in the future

yeah thats what i was thinking... and i messed up when i said two 2500 on 6 l7, id rather do 3 1500 to not run at 2.5 ohms, but yeah our installers at my store are really good, but theres no opening anytime soon..... which sucks, but all well

and yeah i plan on having 3 kenetics pretty soon, but on a stock alt... how do you guys think it will hold up for now?

and should i leave my stock up front and have 3 kenetics in the back??? or just pull it out?
