Skullz
polyfill but we aren't trying to increase the volume but rather to deaden by adding the batting from reflecting off that surface. tackett834
do you think I should redesign it then? If so, any recommendations?
Maxim
Only issue I see is that the port isn't measured down the center. You measured down the inside of the wood rather than down the center of the port. Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . tackett834
Here is another port design. All the same specs as the last box Maxim: I am kind of confused on what you mean by measuring down the center of the port.
Skullz
The first box is fine but if you hear something that don't sound right you just might need to add the batting to combat the standing waves but other than that its perfectly fine for what your doing. Maxim
Maxim: I am kind of confused on what you mean by measuring down the center of the port. It's not an issue. I'm not sure if Torres' calc corrects for it, as it has a "physical port length" box that I've never noticed until now. Anyway, the first box looks good. In the future, try to avoid designing cube-shaped boxes. They usually wont sound as clean. But the L-shaped port should help fix that. Now build it! I wanna see a build log Quote wtf is lolcats? tackett834
Okay I will try my best to do a build log on it. Avoiding cube shaped boxes, would going for a more rectangular shaped box be better?
kmalinich
55^2" Reading in fields in Torres' box calculator application is helpful. i was at school, photobucket is blocked, so i couldn't see it.
