tejcurrent
My 1000.1 at 4 ohms (similar current draw as the 500.1 @ 1) was good with about 400-450 amps of alternator (dual setup) and 3 d3100s. I had 3 runs of 1/0, which was also more than enough. With similar upgrades to those I mentioned you should see 14v at idle. You could probably just do 2 runs of 1/0. May just get away with 1 beefy alternator, I prefer lots of idling amps though. Boon
My 400.1 was fine with, err, 1 fucked G34 yellowtop. And a stock alternator ;/ Quote 10.x volts fo' life!

Playa Named Joe
With running 4k or more rms+ I would run 2 alts, 2 220 alts and 2 big bats in the back would run smooth. I've seen people run 3k each to HDC3s with copper coils. So with Aluminum coils, watching your gains and clipping, you would be fine. l DaChOsEnOnE l
Now my next question how hard would it be to install 2 alternators? Or how much would it cost for the whole job on average? I found 220amps for around 380-
