jasonw30 Posted July 2, 2007 Report Share Posted July 2, 2007 do you have a aftermarket or stock head unit?if you have an aftermarket h/u,it has a remote wire for the amp. if you still wanna use the switch,i'd put it inline with it.6 amps will be more than enough. ChevyBoy Posted July 2, 2007 Report Share Posted July 2, 2007 an amp draws i believe around 300-600 milliamp's which is really nothing at all. definitely put it on the remote and nothing else. and if you plan on hooking more than one amp up, get a relay. and no that amp wont power those subs that good......if at all. sorry to tell ya that.
