do you have a aftermarket or stock head unit?if you have an aftermarket h/u,it has a remote wire for the amp.

if you still wanna use the switch,i'd put it inline with it.6 amps will be more than enough.

an amp draws i believe around 300-600 milliamp's which is really nothing at all. definitely put it on the remote and nothing else. and if you plan on hooking more than one amp up, get a relay. and no that amp wont power those subs that good......if at all. sorry to tell ya that.
