savagebee
does anyone know if it would be good for a 15 in a infinite baffle in a sebring 2door yes, it would, but it depends on what sub you're wanting to use.. image dynamics (idq's come to mind) makes some nice ib candidates

Forevrbumpn
does the term- Slap board ring any bells? I hate that ghetto term, but honestly free air sounds great, but you are limited power wise, and SPL output, but they really get low. And as far as nearly impossible to find a Free air sub, thats not true, a free air sub is usually a high Q woofer, like 0.5-0.8qts, with a slightly higher Fs, like 40-50hz range, sounds like almost any common SPL woofer. There are lots of speakers you can find on Parts Express like some really durable PA woofers, or specifically for Free air. Put it this way, when useing a speaker program, and if the ported box dimensions seem way to big, like a 15" with a ported box like 20hz @15cf- That will make a great free air woofer... I have used Kove Armageddons 15s free air before, and they had a Fs of 35 and a Qts of .40 which was pretty off as far as Free air goes, but it sounded great- Just keep everything completely sealed off for best results Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
