They are NOT cheap, but worth the money for accuracy. They are currently testing an interface with a calibrated microphone, line level inputs and clamp inputs to overcome the I/O (or lack thereof) on the phone. kl0wn Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 I saw this last night and decided to umm...."find" the Pocket RTA and one of the Studio Six Digital's. The Pocket RTA was way off and wouldn't let me tweak it to get it close to what I know I am hitting, so I deleted it. The Studio Six one though was totally different, right off the bat it was not on dot, but closer than the Pocket RTA was. But with a little bit of tweaking I was able to read out roughly the exact same thing a TL does for me, was able to get it like .2db higher than the TL reads for me. 06 Mini Cooper S Sundown, SoundQubed Cadence, XS Power 151s Sealed 155s Outlaw Windshield @ 37hz

If you are looking at it through the app store, just search "FFT" and it's the first one that comes up that has a graph colored green and black, says "FFT" in purple, and has a blue background. That is not the one I used though. To find the studio six application that I used just search "RTA" and it'll be the first one that comes up again. That is if you are using that app store i would search in the app store. so is this like a db meter? The one that I downloaded "RTA" by Studio Six Designs is pretty much only a dB meter, that's all it reads. I have no clue how it will do in other vehicles, saying I don't know if it will match up with what the TL read out for other vehicles.
