installing system thorugh a factory deck

hey guys just wanted to know how to hook up the high-low converter in a 2000 prelude it has a factory amplifier

i hooked up the wires to the speaker but it wouldnt work

i got power and evrythin to the amp buh no signal thourgh the RCA

What converter are you using? some have a ground wire that needs to be connected. Did you look up your wire diagram to make sure you have the right wires? I would pull the stereo and connect it there, I wouldn't connect to the speaker. Make sure you read the directions carefully! I seen people ruin cars trying to do things that they didn't know how to.

refer to that link, thats the wiring diagram for your cars stereo. the12volt is very accurate when it comes to the diagrams, make sure you connected your converter to the right sets of speakers you wanted your RCA's to catch the signal from, either your rear or front speakers. and what the other guy said, some of those things do need to be grounded.
