PUNKYOU007
I built a custom bracket for all my fuses for my 1/0 runs that i will be doing. I had it all fabbed up and went to install it just to find out that the hood hinges would come collapsing onto it....FAIL me. So i have to come up with another way to do it. Can you post up pics of where you installed all your fuses for you multiple runs of 1/0? I need some idears. And i dont want to mount them to the trucks main fuse box either. So unless yall wanna fight and then have some great make up sex i will leave it home.

newls1
OK, this first pic is showing the 2 ANL fuses/fuseholders from the 2 alts. They are secured down to the battery using marine grade velcro (Works excellent, and you cant see any velcro showing) This next picture (which is of bad quality) is showing the other 2 runs of pos from the front batt. The fuse holders are bolted to the fuse box using brass size 6 machine thread bolts that are 1/2" length. Very secure, and in person makes for a nice install. I know you said you DID NOT WANT TO MOUNT TO FUSE BOX, but WHY? if done right, makes for a very clean install. PUNKYOU007
Thanks. Well I am making my own fuse holders which is one reason i dont want to mount to the fuse box. If you look in your pic. just above the fuse box there is a brace that is sort of 1/4 circle shaped (there is one on the other side of the truck as well) I am really thinking of using this space. I took the brace off of the drivers side and got some sheet metal and I am going to try my hand at a custom fuse holder. will post up pics when I get the center cut out and the smoked acrylic on. Any one else have any pics to share. Quote Doethepaperboy "Bars of Pain" Doethepaperboy "Hero Remix" C. Arson d(-__-)b beer sucks...but i can bring some jose cuervo. newls1
I hope you brace that upper 1/4 panel some how if you remove the brace. I take that brace off, you can notice flex in the panel, very much so when you turn the steering wheel. I've been told (Dont know if its true) but removing these braces over time can lead to possible windshield breakage due to all the flex. Actually they way that i made my bracket i should be able to put it back on. I was just gonna leave it off, but i will have to see. I know my bracket goes up under the lip where that factory brace goes then steps down about an 1-1/2" then back straight towards the front of the truck.
