mofo789 Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 ive got 2 alpine monoblocks, i intended just to replace the old one (alpine mrp-m350) 350rms, but now i wonder if i can use them togethor. The amp i just got is a alpine mrd-m501 (550rms). ive got 2 dvc alpine type s that i intend to run off the the 550 rms amp, considering getting a single 12 inch fusion powerplant and running it with the old amp aswell, but (here's the problem) i have a standard battery and a standard alternator in a toyota corrolla, will this manage to run a 4x50 watt headunit and 900rms/1800 watts of alpine monoblock amps, is it possible? or will i need a capacitator or something? thanks
CaptainzPlanetz Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 Dont mix sub brands, it will end up sounding crappy, just use the new amp with the alpine subs, or sell the alpine subs and the Alpine 350 and get a sub to match up with you new amp. Also the HU isnt putting out 50rms its more like 15-20more likely. Also Caps do nothing for 98% of systems. ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............
