The blue light in the middle around the big "M" blinks with the music, and its cutting on and off when I turn it up past half way on my head unit. Now before you say im clipping the hell out of it or anything like that let me tell you that Ive had the same setup for over a year with no probs. I have a 225 amp alt, big three in 4/0, and another batt in the back. My dd 9515 is at 2ohm. Whats going on???

Guest Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 if it just started to happen recently, (fail title btw), then check for a crimp connection that has gone loose or the wires are loose at the amp end, either the ground or power connection.

dugee81 Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 In my old whip my system started to do that, turned out that my battery negative terminal had been loosened so it was just loose, not disconnected but not tight at all 200a alt. by Excessive Amperage hc800 under hood & 2 Deka 9a31 in rear 1/0awg + big 3 SAZ 3000D HDC3 18" @ 2 ohm
