Nothing wrong running 8" sub on the door.. I have seen peoples running 10" on the door too.. There alots of good 8" sub out there, but depend on how much you spending..

would any 8 inch sub work as a midbass as long as you set the crossover right? or does it have to be a 8 inch thats made specific for midbass duty

hear are the specs the 10" and the 8" are the same

8" are $140 a pair plus you get $20 off as a smd member so $120 a pair + shipping
