i know but this time i dont have to spend money on door speaker and head unit and i have a 4 gauge run to the back with a 80 amp fuse but other than that i think all i need is to get power wire and electrical stuff and then the sub then im ready to go

i have done a hifonics amp on a pair of cvx 12's that sounded good in a tacoma, but i have never bench tested one to see how much rms power they really put out. if you go with one try to borrow an o scope to tune it so you dont destory a 1k sub. my best advice is focus your budget on eletrical equipment cause its a better investment; amps/subs will come and go. also if needed i would get a better amp with lower level subs, to at least have a solid foundation and to make sure the sub is performing to its full potiential. so basically shop for the best amp you can afford then choose a sub.

yes i know what ur saying but i could ultimately have a buget of 750$ for amp or 2 amps but i have to sell stuff wich is gonna take a wile tho so yea

like bcarter said the most important thing is the electrical HO alt is the first thing you should pick up along with some 0ga wire for the big three and running to the back. Then batteries

im thinking that 3k amp is gonna be a good start for the 2 18's thinking im gonna wire it at .5 ohmns cuz its stable at .5 ohms

that 3k is a great place to start because you can always just add another if you need more power
