Looking to buy a budget system.

its not that its expensive as much as it is how much you need. i mean even if an amp is 50 bucks, sub is 50 bucks, a box is 30 bucks, wires are bout 50 bucks, that puts at around 180 and there is no way your gonna get any kind of quality with that cheap of stuff. Save your money, and buy the right stuff the first time.

I agree. Buying equipment in this price range is going to sound terrible. I would say wait it out until you have more to spend and you will be happier in the long run. If you are absolutely dieing to spend your money on equipment hit up friends, Ebay or swap meets. A very basic bare bones deck is usually around 99 bucks. That's a third of your budget. Then if someone gave you subs and you used your factory speakers for the highs you still need an amp. Spend the other 200 on an amp and you will still need RCA cables and power wires and speaker wire as well. Just wait before you jump into a bad decision.

here is a decent amp/sub package i have it in my single cab truck and it beats good...after i uprgrade wiring and finish my box it should be great for the price....i reccomend spending a few more dollars and getting the 2010 model of the amp...i also reccomend getting a pioneer headunit http://www.millionbuy.com/ke3.html...here is a vid of what they are capable of with the right box....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kRv4fJOJs0

I think I'll go with what I put up, since it's pretty cheap, and I guess since it would supposedly sound good.
