Midrange frequencies?

So I have a question about "midrange". What frequencies are usually considered to be in the "midrange" range? Like 300 hz - 2k hz? Higher or lower? Particularly vocals of songs. Sorry if my question is worded all wrong but I hope ya know what I mean.

What you consider midrange can vary, maybe between 300hz and 500hz for the lower limmit up to 1.5khz to 3khz. It really depends on what your speakers can produce. Telephones range from 300hz to 3.4khz, so thats about the average human voice range.

I would say ~500hz - 3.5khz, maybe 4khz
