boomin Posted May 17, 2010 Report Share Posted May 17, 2010 im looking for a cheap bike to work on over the summer and hook it up with sweet mods. i know that cr50s and xr50s and crf50s can be tricked out with like 110cc engines and bigger wheels and bars and stuff. i found a crf 50 thats already got some mods done (exhaust, engine guard, chain guard, springs in front forks, spring for rear suspension, foot pegs, shifter) the problem is, is that it doesn't run...what should i look for to make sure its a cheap fix and nothing too much (obviously if the engine doesnt even turn over im not buying it) and finally, im kinda big (5' 11" 175lb) so i dont want to look dumb on this thing....what websites do you all reccomend for cheap bigger wheels and tires and handle bars to make it a pit bike.... i talked the dude down to 300 and its an 04 model F/s: 2 custom made boxes, for 1 12" and 2 12" hit me up I'll let em go cheap Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
