Recommended Posts

So as promised I did a lil clamp test, I want some feedback, and to know if my numbers look good.

First the pics, then the #'s

Thanks P4Killer

The numbers:

This is what I came up with:

its AC Volts/ AC Amps = Ohm load

(AC Volts * AC Volts)/ Ohm load = wattage

Hz--AcV--AcA--Vol--Ohm--Watts

30--43--48.8--47--0.88--2101.1

32--47.8--43.4--47--1.01--2262.2

35--49.2--50.1--47--.982--2465

40--50.8--47.1--47--1.078--2393.9

43--53.4--49.6--47--1.076--2650.15

45--43.7--50.1--47--.8722--2189.5

50--39--16--47--2.44--623.4

Notes: I tried to use my drill to keep the RPM at 2k but it really didnt stay

Also, the reading right at unpause were higher, but i usually waited 2 sec to make my reading sometmes like 4-5 sec so maybe my numbers are a lil low at some Freq.

For instance at 40Hz, my first readings were 50.8 AcV and 50.1 AcA but I re did it at the end and got the numbers posted above

Also I didnt charge the batts before hand and only waited maybe a min maybe between burps

So did I do this right?

What do you think?

Also my voltage drop at higher freq is minimal at low Freq. is sometimes severe. Usually ~ 11.5v but I have seen like ~10.5v

Lemme know

Now that I think about it this should be in the amp section. Move please?
