Hay everybody, i recently purchased a new kenwood... http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/Pr...ProductID=17651 ... and i have nooo amp. Ive been looking around but, im realy not even quite shure what to look for. Some fellow recomended this amplifier... http://shop4.outpost.com/product/4758009?s...CH:MAIN_RSLT_PG ... Would this be a good macth for my sub???

Any help would be greatley appriciated.

Subwoofer: Wtb:15 cheap sub get at me.

Amplifier: Bxi2006d

H/U: Pioneer 4800

Wiring: 1/0 blue kicker

Batt: nsb100ft

is that a single 4ohm sub? if so then no it wont unless you bridge it. and it still wont be reciving its full rms...mabey try a different amp.

Ya its a single, and if i just put at one channel it wont be seeing all it can handle. If i bridge it will it blow? And if not will it thump?

oh it'll thump all right.....thump... thump.... thump... smoke.....cussing.....more cussing..... you could just lower your gain and it will be fine.. :)

lol... Well we dont wanna brake anything now do we? so ittl be alright if i turn the gain down??? and later i plan on buying another of the exact same sub. But until then i wanna get an amp that will bang something descent. So do i realy wanna buy this amp or should i get something totaly differant. And realy i dont care if its a mono or 2 channel. Any advice?

Yes i Already have the sub but, i havnt heard great things about kenwood after i purchased so im definetly open to any sub suggjestions and amp suggjestions.

if you plan on buying another sub get an amp that puts out 1k at 2 ohms.....simply so you could wire them in parallel to a 2ohm load, and each sub will get 500 rms...
