xXBigFishXx Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 Ok this is what i have at the moment ... kenwood KDC-242 Headunit / 4 kenwood KFC- W3012 6x8's / kenwood KAC-7204 1000w amp / and a kenwood 12. What i want to do is filter out the bass from the 4 speakers and add a bass knob for starters. (I don't know if i can just buy another headunit.... if so it would be much appreciated if i could get some recomendations) when i get a bit more money im going to add another 12 but for now just this ^^^^^^^

bassl0va Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 Bass knobs depend on the amp, some have bass boost knobs (not the best) some have gain cut knobs (best) and some don't have one at all (worst, lol) I'd say the kenwood will have a bass boost knob, which will be fine if you set your gains right.
