The99dB
Hey all Im looking for some advice about budget audio setup. Mostly i would like to get a decent subwoofer that would play some low basslines. At this point i dont have much experience with car audio, thatswhy im asking. Just some recommendations about "best bang for the buck" woofers. Ive done some research on 2x12" FI BTL's. They look nice and would possibly fit into my car. For some reason i havnt found out the price yet, so thats one thing ... im not sure if i can even afford them. Im not sure what i could add, ill wait for the questions and all that stuff :3. The99dB
My budget would be around 1400$. The woofer(s) and amp. Rockford Fosgate T2 series looks interesting for me tho. The 12" is quite nice. Im not exactly looking for extreme SPL system. Just something that would shake the car a bit and it should be durable. Im listening to drum&bass and dubstep wich has constant low note playng. Oh and excuse my english, im from europe
bigredishott
You can find type rs 12s for like 200 a pair new on ebay and pick up a decent amp for a few hundred and have moneys left over to do your highs too! ryanFA5
Do you plan on building your own box or are you gonna buy a prefab?? If u dont know yet, you most definitely want to build your own. Itll sound 486x better than a prefab. Just a little heads up. Quote 2010 Civic SI sedan: Crystal Black Pearl All stock.

The99dB
Sorry guys for no response, forgot about the forum. Anyways, im pretty sure i will make a box myself. I checked some RS's, theyr quite nice but how about the Alpine X series? Im afraid if i would take 2 of these, i would need to update alternator. Or, no?
